Kohli to get cricketer of the year award at BCCI annual gala.India Capital Virat Kohli got BCCI's best Cricketer awrad for two seasons,while world cup stars Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana were chosen for the women's equivalent of the the honour,the board announced.Virat Kohli will be presented Twith the Prestigious Polly Umrigar Award for the best international Cricketer at the BCCI Awards to be held in Bengaluru .

The Election Commission has launched its very own online RTI Portal.There is also online payment gateway for making payment of requisite fees under the RTI Act.This portal – rti.eci.nic.in – will help applicants seeking information under the Right to Information Act.The portal will also serve as a platform to reply to applications online, and there will be timely notification alerts to RTI applicants via SMS and email.

The World Bank has approved Water Resources and River Development Ministry’s Rs 6000 crore worth central sector scheme, ‘Atal Bhujal Yojana’.The scheme will be implemented over a period of five years from 2018-19 to 2022-23 with assistance from the World Bank. The scheme proposal has already been recommended by the Expenditure Finance Committee and the Ministry will be seeking Cabinet approval for the project shortly.
