World Day against Child Labour 2018 -12 June
ILO launched the World Day Against Child Labour in 2002 to focus attention on the global extent of child labour and the action and efforts needed to eliminate it.Each year on 12 June, the people from around the world come together to highlight the plight of child labourers and what can be done to help them.The theme for World Day against Child Labour 2018  is generation safe and healthy.

World Blood Donor Day -14 June 2018
Every year, on 14 June, countries around the world celebrate World Blood Donor Day.

Financial Literacy Week -June 4The Reserve Bank of India chose 'customer protection' as the theme for the Financial Literacy Week that started on June 4.The event that ended on June 8 focused on creating awareness among customers of banks about financial products and services, good financial practices and going digital.Bankers, Financial Literacy Counselors and other stakeholders participated to create awareness.


World Bicycle Day observed-3 June
On June 3, 2018, the first official World Bicycle Day was celebrated.It was approved on 12 April 2018 as an official United Nations day of awareness about the multiple societal benefits of using the bicycle for transport and leisure.It encourages the Member States   to include the bicycle in international, regional, national and subnational development policies and programme.
