Government Launches New Scheme 'Seva Bhoj Yojna' 
The Union Ministry of culture introduced a new scheme called 'Seva Bhoj yojna' to reimburse the center share of GST and IGST on items for food/prrasad/langer offered free of cost by charitable religious institutions.The scheme has been launced for financial years 2018-19 and 2019-20 with a total outlay of Rs.350 crores.


Government (Union Finance Ministry) has signed US $500 million (Rs 3,371 crore) loan agreement with World Bank to provide additional financing for Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) rural road projects. The loan 
has maturity of 10 years along with 3 year grace period.

The Tax Department has launched New Benami Transactions Informants Reward Scheme, 2018 to get people’s participation in the Income Tax Department’s efforts to unearth black money and to reduce tax evasion

PMGSY fully funded centrally sponsored scheme launched in 2000. It aims to provide single all-weather road connectivity to all eligible unconnected habitations in the rural areas with population of 500 persons and 250 persons and above.
 
Social networking giant Facebook has partnered with National Commission for Women (NCW) to launch Digital Literacy Programme to train women on safe use of internet and social media. The programme was launched by Facebook in collaboration with Ranchi, Jharkhanda-based Cyber Peace Foundation (CPF).
